Asics Gel Kayano 13 make the cut yet again

I went to buy new running shoes on the weekend. I have spent the winter running pretty high mileage and could feel my previous Kayanos dying a slow death.

I had this idea walking into Running Free that maybe I would try a new pair of runners this go. I tried on a few pairs of comparable models to the Kayanasics_kayano13_wmns_quickperi.jpgo made by other companies. Nothing felt quite right. My last pair to try on were the new Kayano 13s… I was home. They felt just as good as ever.. I was walking on air.

For me, I know a running shoe is right if I can go through a 30km training run without even thinking about my feet. With the Kayano, I honestly don’t even think once about foot pain or even about how great my feet are feeling. My Kayanos totally take care of my feet so that I can really concentrate on the workout at hand.

I realize the Kayano is not a cheap shoe. But neither is rehab physiotherapy! I would much rather spend good money on outstanding shoes that keep me running and running.

I know we will be good friends for life!
