		<description>elkford was a little oasis out there. A classic Canadian community it was eh? Community came out to support the event, banquet was held in the local hockey arena and the tent city was on the baseball diamond. Elkford reminded a lot like Penticton and IRonman but I guarantee you Harper and all those Ironmen/women out there - it was like doing back-to-back-to-back (you get the picture) Ironmans in a row!</description>

		<description>That was our worst day of the race...  I suffered my 3rd flat of the day trying to make it down some of the more "rideable" parts of the rock garden.  Since my tire sidewall was ripped from the first flat only 45 minutes into the race day, it was an extremely nervous ride for me...  the babyheads still give me nightmares! On the plus side, we saw a bear strolling on the road right before finishing in Elkford - where they treated us like kings with the great volunteer support from the community.</description>
