A friend of mine that lives in SF told me about this race, I looked at the distance and figured it would be no problem. How did I know the water would be FREEZING in California?? LOL. It's probably a good thing that I didn't do any research about the race until it was too late because I don't think I would've ever signed myself up otherwise.
