I did not do the race myself so this is not a report but more of a picture post and acknowledgement. I was there to volunteer and cheer on the members of Team Running Free. I managed to snap a few pictures when I could.

The course was tough (strong current on the swim, hilly bike ride, hilly sections of the run, and a mixed bag of weather -wind, rain, chilly, hot) but our athletes kicked some butt out there. I am sure these athletes will tell you all about it in their reports.

Congratulations go to Mark Cairns, Karen Gamble, Peter Geering, Prem Hall, and Angus Kim. All of who successfully completed the 1/2 on a tough day.
