These are photos from the Strong Kids fun run (not timed) that took place on Sat. Sept. 20, 2008 at Scarborough’s Thomson Memorial Park. I originally took part in the event by cheering on my god-children (5 and 7 years old) in their first 1km run, and decided to do the 5km since I was there. Even though it was not a competitive event, several runners managed sub-20 minute times.
