2010 Frosty 5K

 The Finish Line

Last Sunday I ran the very first race this season in Burlington: Chilly Half Marathon and Frosty 5K. The weather was incredibly warm and sunny. It was a beautiful morning in one of the  beautiful down towns in southern Ontario.

Unlike the 1/2 marathon which had more than 3000 runners, the 5K race had only about 600 participants. The run was great and I felt very good all along the route and was still strong when I was close to the finish line.  My time was 20:33 and I made it to 2nd place in my AG (50-54)which I didn’t expected.

Since I don’t have my Team RF gear yet so I rafor Sugoi Brand Champion (I put on my Sugoi BC singlet over the Sugoi mid-zero zip).

My next race will be the Achilles St. Patrick Day 5K Run at the roundhouse. See you around.
