I volunteered on the Sunday. (raced on the Saturday). Volunteering was 5 hours standing in the pouring rain, but that was absolutely nothing compared to the dedication and enthusiasm shown by everyone who raced in those conditions. So, congratulations to all of you. :)

Yeah, thanks for not mentioning how you ran a wicked half marathon. That will be my new challenge, run sub 2 hrs after the bike. That hasn't happened in a while now. Maybe I should leave my aero helmet on for the run. Next time I am in Quebec I'll try and hunt down some poutine. See you again soon.

I concur with Roger, this race is greatly organized and volunteers were awsome at the aid stations under this pouring rain! If you've never raced it (it was my 1st time), then you shouldnext year...from now on, I will make this race my local 1/2IM "A" race as it is much more enjoyable, scenic and fun than Peterborough. But the debate Multisport Canada series VS Subaru series is a full discussionon its own.I should start it on the forum...

Anyhow.Roger, thanks for not mentioning how fast and easy you were on the bike when you smoked me by. This is very kind of you....Maybe the beautiful aero helmet that you've raced with has something to do with it, i don't know....I still have not figured how you can maintain such speed even if it was an aerobic workout for you...

PS: i was living in Montreal for 2 years prior to move to Toronto and the poutines over there are just too good to talk about!!! you should try the "Italian" poutine next time
