2 words…Grouse Grind!! These puppies made it in wet, slippery conditions. I have to say that these shoes are great for hiking in wet and dry conditions. I tried running 10 K in them in the rain. My feet remained dry in a downpour, but they were too heavy for my liking. An excellent shoe for everyday hiking wear, winter days, winter running, rainy weather.
I have to say I use them a lot coaching field hockey and cross country, but rarely wear them for running. Thanks for a great and versatile trail running/hiking shoe Montrail!! 🙂
