About Me: I started running about 8yrs ago and did couple of half marathons. However due to poor training, I ended up injuried and gave up running. I continued to workout in the gym and started spin classes for cardio. I loved spinning so much that I started to teach a spin class. Wanting to be outside led me to road cycling with a group which was pure joy. Then I decided to picked up running again 3 yrs ago and started to do duathlons. I placed in the top 3 in my age group in all the duathlons that I entered in the Subaru/multi sport series.
For my 50th birthday in 2015, I decided to run my first marathon. After training all winter, I ran the good life Toronto marathon in 3:12. Then I realized that I gualified for the Boston marathon. That summer I did a duathlon race and qualified to represent Canada at the ITU worlds age group duathlon race in Spain. I also time qualified for the NY marathon. This past year 2016 was amazing. Running the Boston and NY marathon and representing Canada at the worlds championship in Spain.
I requalified for the 2017 Boston marathon and I am really looking forward to going back
