Brooks Running Gear Review

I’ll admit — I used to skip over Brooks gear because it never struck me as the “flashy” option, and I wanted to support smaller brands. But after trying a few pieces this summer, I’ve changed my mind. The comfort, quality, and practicality have really won me over!

Review of Brooks Running Apparel

Brooks Sprint Free Short Sleeve 3.0
This quickly became my summer running staple. It’s light, breathable, and perfect for hot weather. I got the colour Uncharted Print – Bit of Blue, which has a very faint blue pattern on the front, back centre panel and sleeves, I like that it isn’t solid white but still very light to keep you cool. More of these will be in my basket next visit to Running Free.

Brooks Sprint Free Tank 2.0 (White)
Like the t-shirt, it’s light and breathable, but the racerback style didn’t work as well for me personally. It also fits a bit more snugly than the short sleeve, so I tend to reach for the t-shirt more often. If you are looking for a lightweight tank and you like the racerback style this is a really good option.

Brooks Convertible Sports Bra 2.0
This has become my go-to sports bra. It’s really comfortable and I like that it can be worn two ways — I usually wear it in the racerback configuration. The only downside is that sometimes the hook to make it racerback comes undone during a run, which can be a bit annoying. Still, it’s my favorite for both comfort and support. As someone who needs high support I now own three of these.
