Gear Review: Nathan The Zipster

The Zipster is a simple but effective mini-pack that you can use to reliably hold a variety of things (phone? id card? keys? gels?) while out for a run. It fits comfortably snug around your waist, and is adjustable to ensure it fits perfectly. I find the material to be breathable, and the pocket itself has a bit of stretch to it so ensure you can fit awkward items. I’ve used the pack for longer runs, as well as short/fast ones (including races), and have never had a problem with the pack coming loose nor bouncing around. The pack clips on to your waist with a plastic clip that is study and secure. The pocket of the Zipster is closed with a zipper, and features a small hole for a cord if needed. This piece of gear might seem simple, but I find it an essential piece of gear that’s proven to be durable, versatile, and discreet (I am using it to hold a big phone during a fast and frantic Park Run…it sits discreetly under my Running Free shirt! It was comfortable and I did not notice the pack or phone during the run). Overall, if you are looking for a piece of gear to hold any small items you might need to have with you during your run, I highly recommend The Zipster by Nathan!
