OS1st Plantar Fasciitis Socks: Great Arch Support, Perfect Fit and Exceptional Customer Service

OS1st Plantar Fasciitis Socks: Great Arch Support, Perfect Fit and Exceptional Customer Service

I tried two pairs of the OS1st Plantar Fasciitis Socks in the Unisex Aqua No Show style, choosing two different colours. Right away, I loved the variety of colours available and was even more impressed with the fit and comfort.

The socks fit perfectly, with the contours and compression zones positioned exactly where they should be. There was no bunching, uncomfortable seams or excess material. The arch compression provided noticeable support without feeling restrictive.

As a runner who experiences heel pain, I found the compression comforting during my runs. More importantly, my heel pain didn’t feel worse afterward, which can sometimes happen when I wear regular socks.

Pros

  • Excellent fit and targeted support: The socks fit snugly and comfortably, with compression in all the right places. The arch support was noticeable, and the seamless feel made them very comfortable to wear while running.
  • Outstanding customer service: I contacted OS1st with a question and suggestion about the sock’s design and the direction of its lines. Their response was incredibly quick and thoughtful. They asked clarifying questions, genuinely listened to my feedback and even indicated they would share my suggestion with their design team for potential improvements. Some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time!
  • Great colour selection: I really appreciated the variety of colours available, especially compared with more traditional compression socks.

Cons

  • Fabric preference: The socks are made from a nylon-spandex blend, which makes sense given the compression they’re designed to provide. Personally, I prefer a more cotton-rich sock because I find the fabric softer and more natural against my skin. This is more of a personal preference than a criticism of the product itself.
  • Price: At over $30 per pair, these socks are definitely on the expensive side, particularly compared with some competing options. While the quality and support are impressive, the price may be a consideration for anyone looking to purchase multiple pairs.

Overall Recommendation

I would definitely recommend the OS1st Plantar Fasciitis Socks to anyone looking for additional arch support, a snug and secure fit, and a comfortable running sock. I was particularly impressed with how supportive they felt during my runs and the fact that my heel pain didn’t worsen afterward.

Although I would personally prefer a softer, more cotton-based fabric and a slightly lower price point, the thoughtful design, comfort and exceptional customer service make these socks well worth considering.
