I was one of the lucky winners of a Fox River sock credit in the lottery this year.
As a runner, hiker and owner of Bucket List Travel Advenutres these socks were in for some breaking in.
I headed to Running Free Orangeville for some new footwear .
First test Waterloo 1/2 marathon in May happy, warm, blister free feet at end. good start!
Prior to heading down with my group to hike the Inca Trail, I picked up a few different wool blend pairs and away we went. 42 km, 4 days and 4295m later my feet were warm, dry and BLISTER free. I spotted my tent mate also sporting Fox river and loving hers as well. Impressed!!
I have to say though one of my socks liked Cuzco so much it decided to stay, I hope it is enjoying cuzco as much as I do.
I am heading off to Kathmandu next Friday to reserach our Base Camp Everest Adventure,my Fox River’s are packed and ready for the climb to Namche Bazaar. My travelling companion is a newbie to this hiking a mountain “thing” but he has some nice cozy, comfy Fox River socks. I can rest assured his feet will be cozy and comfortable along the way if nothing else. After Everest they are heading off to Kilimanjaro my Fox River socks are going places join them if you dare
