Brooks Products Reviews

Brooks Ghost Lite Sock
Great fit that stays put, with just the right cushioning and supportive arch comfort. Perfect for runs or long walks. The only drawback? The fabric isn’t as soft as I’d like — a bit scratchy against the skin.
Pros: Excellent fit, good cushion, comfy arch support
Cons: Fabric could be softer

Brooks Run Bra Dare Crossback 2.0
Excellent fit with great support, and the straps are super comfortable — no digging in, even on long runs. My only suggestion? Print the size inside the bra. Once the tags are gone, it’s easy to forget!
Pros: Excellent fit, great support, comfy straps
Cons: Size not printed on bra

Brooks Propel Mesh Hat
This hat is a winner! The adjustable string is super easy to use and stays secure, the mesh design breathes beautifully, and it’s incredibly lightweight — you barely notice it’s there.
Pros: Easy, secure adjustment; breathable; ultra-lightweight

Brooks Women’s Chaser 3″ Short
These shorts are fantastic for running — the fit is perfect, the underwear lining is super comfortable, and the flexible fabric moves effortlessly with every stride. I also loved the back waistband pocket, which was surprisingly handy. My only complaint is the placement of the zippered pocket — it’s quite deep, so heavier items like keys hang low near the seam, which can feel awkward.
Pros: Perfect fit, comfy lining, flexible fabric, useful back waistband pocket
Cons: Zippered pocket hangs contents too low

Brooks Launch 11
The Launch 11 delivers a smooth, energetic ride with great rebound and solid arch support. Cushioning is spot-on, especially around the heel and Achilles — soft, comfortable, and just where you need it. My only minor gripe is that the shoe felt a bit stiff out of the box, but it loosened up nicely after a few runs.
Pros: Good rebound, solid arch support, targeted cushioning, soft heel/Achilles comfort
Cons: Slightly stiff at first

Active living has been a goal of mine for as long as I can remember. I love all types of movement...except cycling, just can't seem to get on board :).... throughout my school career I stayed active with track and field, cross country, volleyball and ultimate frisbee. Into my adult years, I found a new love in hockey, soccer and ball hockey and continued my love of running. Participating in many road races over the years of mostly 5km to 10km, I have finished 5 1/2 marathons and 1 full marathon at Disney. Most recently I found my way back to the track and recently competed for team Canada at the World Masters Track & Field Championship. I continue to race competitively in the 200m, 400m and 800m and masters cross country in the fall. I'm also an active coach for Special Olympics, coaching my son in Track and Field and Swimming. My primary goal in staying active is to influence my children to live healthy and active.
