I was looking for a comfortable pair of shoes for walking, & saw these funky looking shoes at Running Free, so decided to try them.

These shoes are red & white with gold trim with a Canada Flag on the side. They are very flashy! Everytime I wear these shoes, people ask me where I got them from.
These shoes are ultra light at 9oz & are a stable running shoe. I use them for walking & they feel like slippers on my feet. They have a seamless upper construction, so I guess that’s why I think they feel like slippers. They are so comfortable.
I walked with people at work at lunch for a half hour through the spring & summer. I wear safety work boots & work & they are heavy. So, when I put these shoes on at lunch, they make my feet feel great & so very light.
Support in these shoes is “obtained with a direct injected urethane support cage with 5 stripe banding on top.” These shoes have a “Flow Cool System” to manage moisture, & it makes them very breathable.
These shoes are flexible with “anatomically correct flexgrooves”. They have an Asota II rubber outsole with makes them very durable.

I have put six months of training on my Konas, running in them once or twice a week including a marathon in August. They still look almost brand new. They run light even when soaked due to their design. An awesome shoe and a fantastic bargain if you can find your size. Get a pair and save them for the spring: they just might not be so great for slushy winter runs.
